How We Have Helped
Hands Across the Bay’s goal is to touch the lives of as many Bay area residents as possible. Below are organizations that we have already helped since our organization was created. Below this list of organizations, you can also read about some of our success stories from specific events. We invite you to check back regularly to see who is added to the list.
This is me and Alyssa I was called in to help advocate because they were having some difficulty with their insurance on the hospital…she was shot in the head twice by her ex boyfriend. She is doing a little better instead of a full sentence the other day.
Here I teamed up with state attorney Mark Ober to take three severely disfigured domestic violence survivors to speak to the FDLE the FBI and all the main law enforcement agencies and Central Florida about domestic violence.. Melissa Dohme, Audrey Mabrey, and Joi Partain. They all volunteer for hands across the bay as we actively support them with various needs and advocacy:)
This is my three girls at the funeral of a young girl named Megan who was set on fire but ended up dying from her burns..:(
The Tampa Bay Rays in partnership with Gold & Diamond Source
will be doing a check presentation at the Rays/Yankees game on 7/2. Hope to see you there!
Meet Logan Hooker ~ he is the bravest and
strongest one year old! While doctors fight to
diagnose his blood disorder, monthly blood transfusions are keeping him alive.
Logan’s mom is working full time but raising her two boys on her own.

Help Us Help this Family
Hands Across the Bay is still dedicated to providing support for the Coller family and 7 month old Baby Xavier (pictured above and left), who has already undergone multiple surgeries, including open heart surgery.
They are struggling to meet their basic needs and care for Xavier and are in desperate need of our help! If you have it in your heart to donate needed items from the list above or make any type of monetary donation, it would go a long way for this little guy!
You can read more about Baby Xavier here: Help us Help this Family!
ABC Action News’ Linda Hurtado recently covered a story about Baby Xavier and the Coller family. You can read that story here, or watch the video below:
